The Bat! is Not Subjected to Elevation of Privilege Vulnerability as MS Outlook

Recent studies revealed the elevation of privilege vulnerability in Microsoft Outlook which occurs when the email program initiates processing of specially crafted incoming messages without sufficient validation of the formatting of the messages. This way an attacker could force the email program to load a local or remote message store and take control of the affected system. The Bat! is immune to this type of attack as it uses proprietary components to validate the formatting of incoming messages.
