Convert account from POP3 to IMAP?
... could delete the existing account, then create new, but I believe I would lose all my filters. Or is there a method to import filters if I create a new IMAP account? I'm using TheBat! (version 9.1) under Linux Mint 20.2 - the latest update to WINE (7.0) doesn't work properly with POP3 accounts, yet appears that it will work with IMAP accounts.  WINE 6.0.2, the last stable release before 7.0, works fine with POP3 accounts. Thanks for any assistance. Jim

A complete backup has been made already. This will be done in Wine on a Linux machine, but this has not caused any problems in the past. Farewell to TheBat!
Author: Marek K. ZBOROWSKI. I used to be in the same situation a few years ago - experienced Windows to Linux replacement, tried wine for a few months and finally I have decided to dump TB! completely for Thunderbird. It was hard time and a lot of mail convertion. But I do not regret that decision and I would never again swap multiplatform email client for a Windows-dedicated one....

So I need to "speak" with a given voice, signified by a given account, but the subject matter is often intertwined.
