8 bit transfer enconding

When I compose messages (typically ISO-8859-2), The Bat uses quoted-printable transfer encoding.
It is customary in these parts of the world to use ISO-8859-2 with 8bit transfer encoding.

Under Account properties/mail management/transfer encoding for non-ASCII characters, there is no options to set 8bit for mesage text, only for message headers.

It's right above the encoding of message headers in the version that I'm using.

I'm just a user of The Bat! I don't work for Ritlabs.

The drop-down menu is there, it's just that it's missing an 8bit option.
It has three options: no encoding, quoted-printable and base64. I'm running the lastest, 5.3.4.

Meanwhile, I have tried setting it to "no encoding", and I got 8bit encoding!

I'm happy with that, but I'm curious whether this is the way it's designed to work?
