Backup configuration to a file

Hi,

This is my first post in this forum.

I have spent a lot of time in configuring The Bat! the way I like it.
Is there an easy way to make a safety backup of this configuration?

Thanks in advance for your answer

Basically, there are two ways to create a backup.
1) From within TB: Tools -> Backup
2) From Windows: Simply copy TB's mail directory (almost) all data is stored there.

Thanks Roelof, but does this backup also include all the settings I have made in the Preferences dialog? and all settings that are stored in the Windows registry?

regedit /e "E:\The Bat!\batkey.reg" HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\RIT

Put that in a batch file and change the target directory to your email directory and rename the reg file to whatever you wish

BTW I got this from Roelof years ago  :D

Great!

Thank you: Rick and Roelof  :)
