			Good morning,<br />Recently after updating The Bat! from the Halloween edition to the current v10.5.3 64 bit version, the macro %ToFname has stopped inserting the name of the person from the recepiuent field of a new email message. &nbsp;I went as far as removing the macro items.from the new mail template,saving, exiting &amp; restarting but cannot get this to begin inserting the recpeient&#39;s first name into a new email message. &nbsp;The macros in a reply message appear to be working ok. <br />

			I&#39;ve been looking through available TB macros, and I can&#39;t figure this one out: I would like to tell TB to do this: &quot;When performing Reply-To, never include these two e-mail addresses among the recipients.&quot; Is this possible?<br /><br />Motivation: the mail server has two alias e-mail addresses that point to the same inbox of my main address. So, when someone sends me a message to one of the alias addresses and I do a Reply-To, the reply will also be sent to myself (the alias address) unless I manually delete it from the recipients, of course.<br /><br />I can think of a workaround: create a filter which detects such replies of mine and deletes them upon arrival. But, is it possible to tell TB not to send such messages to my alias addresses at all?<br /><br /><B>EDIT: Not Reply-To, I meant Reply-All</B> <br />

			Hello,<br />z0mbies Macros are very old, made in 2004, it appears they don&#39;t work anymore, I don&#39;t know why.<br />I tried with theBat v10.4.0.1 32bit and 64bit<br /><br />I was mainly interested in the SKIPLINE function. Really love it, but, unfortunately I have some issues<br /><br />I created a template with images, when I sent it per mail it works perfectly, but when I&#39;m trying to mass mail with the same template my images are not showing, even though I choose html in every option and preference possible<br /><br />Hopefully, someone could help me<br /><br />Also images are shown when there are several addresses in &quot;to&quot;, but not when I send them to outlook to send them personally to every address &nbsp; <br />

			I&#39;m the developer of this small tool so let me apologize right away for (ab-) using this forum. I thought maybe it&#39;s permissible since Auto Book is specifically designed for use with The Bat - in fact, it was The Bat that gave me idea to develop this tool in the first place.<br /><br />Via the &quot;Exectute&quot; filter action in The Bat and Macros (such as %Text), Auto Book can receive email data from The Bat when a hotkey is triggered and then automatically extract the needed information and store them in simple tab-separated text files.<br /><br />The typical use case is capturing purchase order information from emails: Instead of manually copying and pasting the needed data (such as client, date, PO number, amount, etc.) into a bookkeeping system, Auto Book extracts and stores these data automatically when the user presses a hotkey. It is also possible to automatically create and open project folders based on the information that was captured (e.g. clientname\date.PO-number etc.). This way, when receiving a project from a regular client, the user can start work immediately without losing time for overhead tasks. I have this rule for archive incoming and out messages to folders/subfolders:<br /><br />\\MailDir\Data\Archiv-Sorted\Incoming\%SetPattRegExp=_(.*)@(.*)_%-%RegExpBlindMatch=_%FromAddr_%-%ODATE=&quot;yyyy&quot;\%SubPatt=_2_\%SubPatt=_1_<br /><br />Where output from mail <noindex><a href="mailto:john@domain.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">john.doe@domain.com</a></noindex> this is:<br />\\MailDir\Data\Archiv-Sorted\Incoming\year\domain.com\john.doe\*<br /><br />But my IMAP server use as separator dots.<br /><br />The problem is that it then creates domain and mailboxes that contain a dot as another subfolder.<br />\\MailDir\Data\Archiv-Sorted\Incoming\year\domain\com\john\doe\*<br /><br /><br />Does anyone know how I can modify the rule so that the messages are correctly saved according to the original format...<br />\\MailDir\Data\Archiv-Sorted\Incoming\year\domain.com\john.doe\* <br />

			Hello,<br /><br />how can I achieve that a folder automatically uses the message templates from its parent folder (unless individual message templates are defined for that folder)?<br /><br />Currently when I create a new (sub)folder, the message templates are "inherited" from the "root" folder (or from the account), not from the parent folder.<br /><br />Regards<br />Stefan <br />

When I set Format to &#39;HTML&#39; in a new template I make, it apparently keeps it, but when I then go to compose new email with that template, the format defaults to &#39;Plain&#39; and I have to still choose HTML manually. This is tedious and is not something you have to do in Thunderbird, for example. How do you get the format to stick when composing from a template? <br /></span><br /><span class="bx-font" style="font-size:12pt; line-height: normal;"><br /></span><br /><span class="bx-font" style="font-size:12pt; line-height: normal;">Also I&#39;m trying to paste graphics here to show, but they are showing blank frames. Any trick to that?
