Open links in background links, background, browser in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
Well, the configurations/changes would all have to made in your browser (and not in The Bat!)

01.) You'll need to have Firefox as your default browser.

02.) You'll also need to have the Tab Mix Plus (TMP) addon installed - this is a highly recommended add-on for all Firefox Users:-

03.) After installing Tab Mix Plus (TMP), the following setting has to be done:-

Tools >>====> Add-ons >>====> Extensions >>====> <sel ect Tab Mix Plus> Options >>====> Events >>====> Tab Opening >>====> Focus/Sel ect tabs that open fr om: >>====> <uncheck> Diverted windows >>====> Apply >>====> Close.

Another way to do the above setting is as follows:-

Tools >>====> Options >>====> Tabs >>====> Tab Mix Plus Options... >>====> Options >>====> Events >>====> Tab Opening >>====> Focus/Sel ect tabs that open fr om: >>====> <uncheck> Diverted windows >>====> Apply >>====> Close.

Check the following screenshot for more clarity:-

Please note the above configurations/changes will open links in the background . . . . . . . . fr om all external applications - not just The bat!

Yes, I'm able to enjoy reading my Bat! mails uninterrupted, while all the links load silently in the background in my browser.

However, you'll need to make some changes in your configurations to be able to achieve this.

When I click on message links or url, is there a way to have it open up 'behind' TB! In my browser? In other words, I'd like to continue reading email as usual, then go back to view all opened links in the browser at one time.
