The folder, for the primary filter, is on the same account - my main EMail account.

The primary filter works by identifying a certain string in the header, indicative of being from the discussion group.

The sub-filter looks for the EMail address of a particular member and is supposed to mark those messages as 'read' - so that I don't have to waste time coming across his vitriol. I don't want to erase his messages, as that would destroy the quality of my archives.

G'Jim c):{-

Another filtering issue Sub-filters not working since 5.0.14 in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
I have a filter that directs all message from a particular message board to a folder; I also have a sub-filter that is supposed to mark certain messages as already read (based on the EMAil address of a particularly obnoxious member).

Before 5.0.14, the sub-filter worked just fine; however with .14 and .18, the sub-filter isn't working - the messages don't get marked as 'read'.

It would seem that TB! is losing filtering functionality with each 'upgrade'.
