In case you always want to reply without anything quoted, you can remove the %quotes macro from the account's reply template:
account -> properties -> templates -> reply
In case you want to reply sometimes without anything quoted, then you can use the function 'reply without quotation', that can be found at:
Specials -> reply without quotation
Or by pressing Shift-F4 while you've selected the original message in the message list.
If you're doing this regularly then you can customise a toolbar and add it.

Edit the Reply template (for the account, addressbook group, or contact) to remove the %Text

I'm sure this is an easy thing i'm overlooking:

but how do you reply to a specific email that was sent to you without the original sender's text
being sent back to the person? (without simply sending a "new" message)
