unfortunately the connection centre is regarded as visible for some reason, even when I cannot see it. I have taken to automatically killing TB every so often and restarting it, not perfect but does allow it to get on with its job. The execute program on receipt of a particular email is so useful I can put up with a lot.
If your program can detect the window then it could also query the window for its current visibility state, which should help you. I don't think there are any other settings you can use.
I have a problem whereby TheBat! occasionally hangs when in the Connection Centre. It then needs to be shut down by the Task Manager and restarted. I want to be able to write a program to detect when it is in this state so I can rely on it collecting emails and processing them when I am not at the PC (I am using the invaluable option of running extenral program on receipt of certain emails). I have a program that detects the Connection Centre window, but it detects it all the time, whether I can see it or not. Does anyone have any idea where I could look to check whether it is actually stuck in this state, perhaps a registry key or similar?

John
