The problem has nothing to do with TB. But every now and then there's an installer for a browser that fails to adapt the registry properly for hyperlinks. Most of the time this is recognized soon and the installer will be fixed. Generally there also will be released patches to fix it without re-installing.
The problems may be related to the OS and the previous browser.

I use Opera and TB and have never had any problems with hyperlinks (Opera: 11.50 build 1074; The Bat: 5.0.16; OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64).  What version of TB and what OS are you using?

(Opera 11.50). Never mind, took a wild hunch, and reinstalled internet explorer 8. Seems to have fixed the problem. Thanks anyway.

When I click on a hyperlink in a message, I get an error message saying that "the parameter is incorrect." Any help?
