Well Since my last post we made the following changes.

Backed up TB.
Installed windows 2003 standard server on a fresh HD.
Increased the memory to 1024 MB.
Installed TB and the backup of the mailboxes.

and now it seems to be running more stable , but its only been 1 day after these changes have been made. Will let you know if any more issues come up.

Thanks.
Version of TB is 3.0

Disabled the Anti-Spam Plug-in, but before that was installed TB was still a memory hog.

I have TB set to Compress on exit and the Bat runs continuously on the weekends only, but is closed first thing Monday morning. I also close the program every day atleast 3 times a day while I work. Once I get caught up I close. Not to mention that I run the Compress and Purge folder everytime I empty one.

TB was closed 4 times yesterday and only 2 of those were by me intentionally, the other 2 were by the program not responding or just closing all together. I came in this morning and TB closed again at 5pm this time.

And thanks for the response, Roelof, if you have any other suggestions. please post em
What version are you using?

Are you running a anti-spam or anti-virus plug-in?
You can see this at:
Options -> Preferences -> Protection -> Anti-Spam
and
Options -> Preferences -> Protection -> Anti-Virus
First advise would be to uninstall the anti-spam plug-in. In my experience that's the worst memory hog.

As far as the inbox is concerned. Een though all messages are caught by filters, every message arrives in the inbox and from there TB takes it through the sorting office. And with your flow I'd strongly suggest regular compressing. Compress on exit might do that for you.
(Account -> Properties -> Options -> Compress all folders on exit)
Do you run TB continuously? In that case you could use the Windows scheduler to close and restart TB every day. (Use the /exit parameter)
 For the past 3 weekends this program has crashed, stopped responding or thrown memory access errors at me.

We receive about 180,000+ emails a week for these 3 mailboxes, since getting TB 3.0 I have set up filters to move all emails to their respective domains for each mailbox. Nothing goes in the inbox and stays in the inbox. Over weekends we receive about 55,000+ emails normally not that hard on the system or program. But lately every monday I come in, TB has crashed. Leaving me to Pull from the server on monday cutting out of my production because of this. It takes roughly 2-3 hrs to pull 30,000 - 40,000 emails.

Week 1
TB first started having issues with pull from our 3 spamboxes on our mail server. I first thought this to be because we took the system down over the weekend to do a full system back up. But by thursday the programs was still having issues. Issues as in memory access errors or program stops responding or closes on its own. Once everything was pulled down. after going through and deleting the spam and forwarding the ham, I pulled from the server again. This time there was everything I pulled already and everything new. I ran the Delete Duplicates for the folders and it deleted 1/2 of each folder and still said everything was on the server.

We resolved this by having the email administrator remove everything from the weekend and then pulling from the server once again. Finally TB saw the server as empty.

Week 2
TB stopped responding, after restarting pc, running folder maintence to fix the integraty of the folders and defraggin TB....everything was able to be pulled down from the server. We installed a 2nd hard drive (120 GB) to become the paging file for the system running TB.......we removed virtually every program on the system as well to allow TB to be the CPU/Memory hog it is.

Week 3
TB stopped responding, stuck pulling from the server at 5:00PM on friday night. leaving everything their from the weekend to be pulled down. I pulled everything for mailbox 1, went through and deleting the spam and forwarding the ham, I pulled from the server for mailbox 2, after getting to 53% TB stops responding, so I force it closed. this causes about 500 TMP files to appear on my desktop. After going to your knowledge base and deleting all temp files from my Temp folders, running defrag, check disk, disk clean up and restarting the pc, I am currently repulling from Mailbox 2.

Up until 3 weeks ago, I have not had many issues with TB that were not fixable in the matter of minutes but lately it has been taking Hours to fix small problems within the program.

So my question is, are their ways to stablize this program? if so please provide suggestions.

Thanks
