Minimizing in the systemtray can be set at:
Options -> Preferences -> General -> Minimise to the System Tray

However, that should not influence your mail. My guess would be that you're having troubles with your connection, might be your connection itself, but could also be a virus scanner, firewall or anti-spam proxy.


What happens when you don't try to open TB until everything has been downloaded?

Hi there ppl

I have big problems when i try to start TB v3.1 it just minimizes and leaves the icon in the  systemtray. And every time it happens is when i am receiving mail i can see the number of messages counting up but if i finally get it to start i have multiple copies of the same mail it often happens when there are files attached but why?
