Accidentally came across this in internet in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
The first "security hole" is covered by the forthcoming introduction of on-the-fly-encryption for the TB data files and mail bases and also by SecureBat! in previous versions for those that wanted to move to a higher level of data security.

The second one is logged as fixed from version 2 onwards on the page itself.
