I'm using GMail and imap with TB and that works fine.
As TB and voyager basically the same I think that your settings should be the same as with TB.
My settings for mail retrieval are:
server: imap.gmail.com
user: username (without the @gmail.com part)
password: ##########
connection: secure to dedicated port (TLS)
port: 993
And when you click on authentication, the only thing selected should be 'regular'

Hi,

I'm trying to setup Voyager with gmail.
I want to keep my mails stored in my Gmail.
I want to read and write mails using Voyager without actually storing anything on my USB stick.
I think that means I must use IMAP and SMTP; but frankly speaking I don't care about the protocols used as long as it works.

I've googled for, and found, articles how to set up Voyager/The Bat but I still can't get it it working
Voyager shows this in Conection Center: http://support.google.com/mail/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=14257
Assuming the web login for Gmail is the same as what Voyager has to use I'm sure the password is ok.
The error page seems to indicate it's pop error, but I'm using IMAP. I tried with switching on/off pop in the gmail configuration.

My provider is online.nl. IMAP works fine. SMTP only works when on their network. Which I'm not.
I still wnt to keep my online.nl account as my promary account so it would be great if I can read my mail from the online.nl server and send with any free provider that allows SMTP.
