Sel ect an IMAP account and pick from the menu:
Account -> Properties -> Mail management
It has there this option: For pre-defined folders, use these IMAP folders
Fr om there you can find your own way.
This interests me as well, as my sent mails from home cant be seen at work and visa versa

I think that you mean creating a 'sent folder' in the imaps folders rather than the standard sent mail folder and using mail management to copy the mail to the imap sent folder

Could you confirm this please

UPDATE its not that as when I tried it, it replaces the sent mails by the mails stocked in the sent imap folder

so I'm a little lost
The solution would be to use IMAP, that's not really synchronising, but especailly on a tablet that's the best way to manage your mail. And it has the advantage that you can access your mail from everywhere (provided you can get online)
Don't forget to use remote 'sent messages', 'outbox' and 'trash' folders in TB in order to get all folders the same on both clients, IIRC TB's default is to set those three local.
There's no way to really sync TB with your tablet, maybe with some third party tool, but I wouldn't know any.
