Yes, I know that's the problem. And your workaround will help - thanks.

But that doesn't change the situation that changing the signature font in the Preferences menu doesn't change the displayed font, and that's the real bug.

I believe it is your signature delimiter "--" that is breaking the emails. Try deleting it for that group or at least the space after it. It is doing it's job and is required in the Bat mailing lists, but in any place that allows top posting, it is useless

I belong to a mailing list which concatenates emails into one long message. Quite often the mailers have a signature introduced by "-- \n".

However, this means that the next message is interpreted by TB! as a continuation of this signature, and (being in grey slamm font) unreadable.

I've tried changing the signature font to the same as the regular text font, but this doesn't always work. The following text the gives the problem. How can I get round this please?

A "multi-author blog" sounds pretty much the same as a journal except
that it won't accept non-member contributions.
