I don't think it is going to work that way - I couldn't get it to go back to the web page. What you CAN do is make a common virtual folder that shows all the stuff in both folders sorted any way you want it. That will not put them back out on Gmail however.

Here is a google search that might help
<noindex>http://tiny.cc/fdhjxw</noindex>
which resolves to this
<noindex>https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&rlz=1C1CHFX_enUS524US524&ion=1&ie=UTF-8#safe=off&hl=en&rlz=1C1CHFX_enUS524US524&sclient=psy-ab&q=import%20sent%20mail%20to%20gmail&oq=&gs_l=&pbx=1&fp=6261b211d7e35681&ion=1&bav=on.2,or.r_cp.r_qf.&bvm=bv.46865395,d.dmQ&biw=1024&bih=600</noindex>
I think you misunderstood me.
I want to transfer all messages from a local Sent folder.
I want to move them into Gmail (online) Sent folder.

I used to send/recive mail using my own SMTP/POP3 server. Now for sending them I'm using smtp.gmail.com and for incoming imap.gmail.com. Over the imap.gmail.com messages from local (TheBat's) Inobx folder are synchronized with Gmail's online inbox folder, but those from the local (TheBat's) Sent folder were not. I'm talking about a subsequent sync of old messages that once were sent over my SMTP server.
I just tested this. DRAG them to the sent IMAP box and they will go (not the local copy but the one that is indented)
Try a couple. they will slowly populate and then show in the non indented one about that section CONTROL V did nothing.
Probably because they were "sent" then deleted. Google is weird that way
You will also find that you have to go to the website to delete the trash (successfully) and regain the space

Gmail IMAP and TheBat's 'Sent Folder' synchronization in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
Until today I've used Gmail POP3.

I decided to switch to IMAP.

On the Gmail account I shut down POP3 and activated IMAP. Within TheBat I created a new account with IMAP settings. From the old account I successfully transferred several thousand (Inbox) e-mail messages TheBat successfully synchronized with Gmail's (Inbox).

In the same way I tried to sync 'Sent Folder'. I transferred all the messages from old folder at old account to the new account in the (new IMAP) Sent Folder inside TheBat.

TheBat informed me with the message "Moving Messages" and completed to move them. However, the message from the new Sent folder, unlike the Inbox, were _not_ uploaded to Gmail. Why? How can I synchronize (upload to Gmail) TheBat's 'Sent Folder' aswell?
