Never heard about that feature.
Maybe you had the time to read the messages at zero seconds?
account -> properties -> options -> mark messages as read when it is being read for ... sec

Hello All,

I used to be able to hover the mouse pointer over inbox messages and they would automatically be shown as read.  Re-built several machines and now it doesn't work anymore.  I cannot find the option to perform this.

Have  I missed the correct option or has this activity been changed by design?
