Thank you but I can't seem to get your last suggestion to work.  It would be my preferred method too.

I have a folder set up and rule to filter to that folder based on the incoming email address.

When I try to reply the email address is not showing the alias address.

Can you expand a little on how to set this up?

Can be done in several ways.
- You can type the alias (including address) in the From header
- You can create a quick template that will enable you to set the alias by running the quick template
- Set a folder identity and every time you start a message while you've selected that folder, the matching identity will be used

I use the latter. Whenever I receive a message to the an alias, the message will be moved into that folder and every time I create a message with that alias that will also be moved to the matching folder. All with the filters that TB provides.

Is it possible to create aliases (ID's) for specific accounts in v6?

I have a couple email accounts that have alternate IDs and aliases and would like to send email using those aliases.
