I freaked out when I saw it and emailed Maxim. He said it is his survey I will add: The serial number is not your license key but is found in HELP /ABOUT

That did look like a scam and gave me a scare - thanks for pointing it out

So I wonder is this legit?
As it want's to know my name, email and the TheBat serial number,
so my scam alarm got triggered.
