====quote====
!5/4/2005, 18:53:18: SEND - Server reports error. The response is: 0 Flushed
=============

Don't worry about this. It isn't an error message from Google, but a status report. However the way that it is issued is not quite compliant with RFC821, hence the fact that TB thinks it's an error.
Hello,

I've tried so many things to get gmail to work with The bat! 3.0.1.33 but nothing works. This is the first time I ever came across a wierd acting SMTP server (I think). The following is from my log:

====quote====
5/4/2005, 18:53:16: SEND - sending mail messages - 1 messages in queue
5/4/2005, 18:53:17: SEND - Initiating TLS handshake
>5/4/2005, 18:53:17: SEND - Certificate S/N: 3E9C8A, algorithm: RSA (2048 bits), issued from 16 Sep 2004 to 16 Sep 2005, for 1 host(s): smtp.gmail.com.
>5/4/2005, 18:53:17: SEND - Owner: US, California, Mountain View, Google Inc, smtp.gmail.com.
>5/4/2005, 18:53:17: SEND - Issuer: ZA, Western Cape, Cape Town, Thawte Consulting cc, Certification Services Division, Thawte Server CA, server-certs@thawte.com.
5/4/2005, 18:53:17: SEND - TLS handshake complete
5/4/2005, 18:53:17: SEND - connected to SMTP server
5/4/2005, 18:53:17: SEND - authenticating (plain)...
5/4/2005, 18:53:17: SEND - sending message to withheld@response342.com
<5/4/2005, 18:53:18: SEND - message to withheld@response342.com sent (525 bytes)
!5/4/2005, 18:53:18: SEND - Server reports error. The response is: 0 Flushed
5/4/2005, 18:53:18: SEND - connection finished - 1 messages sent
=============

The following just doesn't matter...

STARTTLS 587

STARTTLS 25

TLS 465

If I click the authentication tab for SMTP, I use specific settings and enter my username@gmail.com and password. I can't use "MD5" AND checking "POP before SMTP" just doesn't matter.

Also, I turned my Firewall (ZoneAlarm) and AntiVirus (Norton05) off. I just don't understand... Could the log perhaps reveal something I am missing or could this somehow be a bug with The Bat! 3.0.1.33?

Also, if this matters, although I send the mail from The Bat! It never gets to it's final destination. Yet, If I log into gmail.com and check my sent folder the message is there... It appears sent but it never gets to the recipient.
