Well if you want to FIX it, Try creating a folder under the folder that is giving you trouble. Drag all the messages to it. Go out to the first folder via windows and delete all non folder files in it. Go back to the bat and drag fr om the temporary folder you just made back into the original folder and delete the temp folder. It will no longer have the corruption, then run the maintenance center on a regular basis (daily is great) Try to keep active folders with as little mail as possible, under 200 works. Put the 800 emals with the pics in a common folder somewh ere

If you hit any snags, post back as much info as you can and someone will try to help BUT REMEMBER this is a user to user forum and we do the best to help each other

I deleted all accounts but 3, one of them has about 800 mails with pics.

When I create a new account in TheBat, it freezes about 3 minutes after I click on "OK" after I entered the account data. That has nothing connected with other folders, as it is a NEW one. This, after a fresh re-install.

Support of thebat is more than nuts, they didn't even bother to reply to emails after 10 days. Going to switch to thunderbird. If somebody wants my license number, just ask (one or hundreds of people, no problem)

Sorry about you not getting support when you asked. I occasionally have trouble shutting down the Bat. You can go through your folders and make sure that they do not compact on exit. That may help some (then use the maintenance center to do the purging and compacting)

I really LOVE the support! to any question about how to buy a license, the reply comes in the hour. to any question about technical problem, nobody! I am one of these idiots who purchased a license instead of patching the software, sure I won't get a new one!!! Even on thunderbird that is FREE, ALL problems get a reply (or TEN replies!) very fast! TheBat is theBullshit!

And something more: when I wanna close TheBat, it just freezes and I have to close it thru the task manager... This is a real pain, thinking to move to Thunderbird (((((

Using 6.0.12 pro, Rainbow token

It takes now about 1 minute to change preferences, anything I do. I uninstalled completely (including the REG keys), reinstalled, removed quite all accounts (but I have still one with about 1000 mails with many pictures...), nothing changes.
Also when I close TheBat, it takes about one minute before seeing the splash screen. During this minute all is frozen.

Any suggestion?
