Yes text only and it will carry any text you highlight in the original message. I have it turned OFF globally and ON in certain folders. It is a great feature if you need to just highlight a few words and make a fast reply

I was playing around and found Quick Reply pane which I'd turned off and so played with it. I'm not sure of its benefits other than seeing the whole email above.  It also seems to send in text and not html I think. Is that correct?

Anyone use Quick Reply pane? Have you found any advantages for it over just Reply?
