Failing interaction between certain servers and TB

Failing interaction between certain servers and TB Why can't TB work with a certain server? in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
It looks rather straightforward.
smtp server would be smtp.a1.net
port 25 and no authorization
unless you don't use a1's network to connect with their server (or when you're one of their business customers), in that case you should enable autorization with the same data as for mail collection.
I'm looking for a solution that allows the use of the SMTP server of my A1 Austria provider and TB. So far I didn't get helpful support from Ritlabs.

If there are certain constellations that can't be matched I would like to get a clue what might be behind.
