I have played around with the slider. However if I increase the contrast the blue lines have the same power across the pane but if I decrease the contrast to very low the blue color is stronger in the chosen sorting colum.

I would like to have even power of colour across the pane even at low contrast

I get the blue on rows but not columns. I get rid of it by going to
PREFERENCES / MESSAGE LIST
and near the bottom there is a slider that can adjust the blue from Maximum to none. Set it to none, click OK and that should remove it

I am using The Bat! ver 6.8.8 and want to have the columns in the preview pane not showing any
colours.
As soon as a pick a sorting column I get a blue tint on the column.

How to get the whole preview pane colourless?
