Rick G, thanks for the SETEDITOR macro.  I must be blind because I couldn't find it in the Insert Macro menu when composing a Quick Template. Did I miss it or it's just not there?  I'm running TB v7 Home.

Keep in mind it can be overridden with a template macro. If you had %SETEDITOR=1 in a template, you are going to get the plain text editor

That worked.


I've been on that page so many times, but I never noticed the "default editor".

Perhaps my eyes and brain were too blurry with all the new setting up.

I've never had this problem (I avoid html) but could it be: Options | Preferences | Viewer/Editor | Default Editor ?

Hi,

I've just re-installed the BAT.

All new messages are opened in a plain text editor, even though HTML message templates are set.


I need to manually type:

Ctrl+N for a new message, then

Options > Message Format > HTML/Plain Text


The BAT used to open new messages in the editor in HTML mode.

Which setting am I missing that wasn't updated?
