The 'built-in crappy' HTML viewer protects you from multiple points of attack, lazy html and web bugs from senders. A good trade-off for most. Using IE as a HTML viewer opens your computer at all hacks that trouble IE.

Use the stripped down built-in browser for most, then if 'picture perfect' view is required, right-click open in browser (IE).
HTML rendering is pretty poor in The Bat! -- they apparently know it because there's an option that partially fixes it:

Preferences:Viewer/Editor:HTML Viewer

This has an option "Use Windows OS HTML Viewer" which disables the crappy built-in HTML rendering, and uses an external rendering engine from Internet Explorer.
How do you do the load in browser?

In Eudora you just right click inside the email and go to OPEN IN BROWSER........

I dont see that option in The Bat?

Thanks,
Christopher
<noindex>Chris@cwm030.com</noindex>
They are rendered differently, but they seem to both be ok. Eudora's rendering looks a bit cleaner and The Bats HTML may need some drastic work done on it but every client renders HTML differently. You can load it in your browser and get a better rendering but each browser can be quite different in the way it displays

I am not sure that in this case it is a problem as much as it is a difference in rendering engines
