Hi Örjan,

Well, I'm certainly not the final authority on The Bat, so if I were you, I'd ask Ritlabs Support about it too! (see 'Support' in the menu above).
If it turns out that it can be done after all, please let me know, it sounds quite useful.

Best,
-D-
Hi Daniel,
Thanks for your answer!
But multiple filters are sadly not the solution as there is no part that is constant and could be used to trigger the different filters. Some folders are for senders pertaining to a certain (variable) group, other collect messages concerning a certain topic (not necessarily named identical in the message) some folders are for ongoing and sometimes somewhat fuzzy defined projects or threads etc. etc.
And using an intermediate storage folder would be the same as just dragging them fr om the folder Sent, wouldn´t it?

It´s a pity this is not possible with The Bat! I recently migrated from Pegasus wh ere this functionality easily could be ticked in the settings and even in Outlook it can be implemented with an add-on (from Sperry Software).

Best regards,
Örjan
I don't think it's possible to ask the user for a target folder. Can't you just make multiple filters, that each move matching messages to a different folder? Or, if you cannot think of a way to distinguish the messages programmatically, maybe you can just move them all to an intermediate storage folder, from which you can later drag and drop them manually to their final destination folders.
Hi,
I would like to move every outgoing messages to a folder respectively specific for the subject of the message.
I have seen the possibility to filter outgoing messages using a 'move to' command, but I as I do not have all the information beforehand I would like to be able to select the move to destination folder when actually sending the message.
Is that possible?
TIA
Örjan
