You could use a generic file viewer like Lister (freeware, www.ghisler.com/lister) to view its contents.

It's probably a log file from one of your accounts. See Transport | Protocol Logging in the properties of each of your email accounts.

While browsing TheBat! folder I found a file titled pop.log thats 1.8gb.  It's only in my default mail folder and not in any of the other email addresses. I tried to open it but it's too big for my text editors although one indicates it's not text.

What would this file be? And 1.8gb?

All my email accounts are set up as pop accounts, not IMAP.
