Upgrades are optional, a license for The Bat is not a subscription. The license will keep working forever for the software version(s) that it applies to. When a new version is released that isn't covered by your current license, you can upgrade if you think the new features are worth it.

Hi, I am curious.. Do I *HAVE* to pay and upgrade everytime a new version comes out?

How long can I wait to pay before i'm forced to upgrade?


Like, if I don't pay, will my old version be blocked?
