It is occurring in light of the fact that your profile does not have BOTH a first AND last name. Contact support and request that they include a first and last name to your login profile, possibly one or both are missing. They couldn't care less what names you use, it doesn't need to be your genuine name.

It is happening because your profile does not have BOTH a first AND last name.  Contact support and ask them to add a first and last name to your login profile, either one or both are missing. They don't care what names you use, it does not have to be your real name.

The new forum software requires this. Is has been this way for a long time. It had me locked out for over a year before I finally got support to fix it.

The login error should be more specific......

FWIW I've been getting the same error today, after having just used the same now-blocked login last night.
