Grouping

Grouping - why now not the last email? in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
As has been mentioned before on this forum, this is not the place to enter wishes. And asking me to put it back has no use whatsoever, I'm just an end-user like you without any ties to Ritlabs.

You can insert wishes in the wish list, by logging in to:
<noindex>https://www.ritlabs.com/bt/main_page.php</noindex>
Choose 'The Bat! wishes' and add a new item.
First check whether someone has made the same wish, then you can
support that wish.
Wishes that are supported by more users are more likely to be granted
than wishes by one. And the system isn't smart enough to understand
that wishes might be the same.
And add just one wish per entry. Makes everything easier, both for
other users who want to add support and for the developers.

I think having every thread expanded makes it completely unreadable.. I don't understand why in some situations (grouping by subject) the grouping is done in old way..
Is it possible that you add an option to turn on the old style? I can't use new versions of The Bat because of this:(
It's not a bug, it's a different approach, though you don't have to like it of course.

Expanding every thread is easy, just press Ctrl-* while you've got the focus on the message list.
i was wondering that maybe they fixed it.. no way.. downgrading to 3.0 again..
:( time to downgrade... this is completely wrong change, it wastes time incredibly! imagine you have to expand every xxxxxxxx thread! also when switching between folders, your last position is not preserved if you have cursor on group header! this change was a mistake.
Why now when I group emails by sender - there's just the sender?

I mean, why not, but then I just can't simply use the address via reply, because it's not the last email, but only some header.

I am missing the option to make it appear like in 3.01.

Martin
