32-bit vs 64-bit in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
I have a 64-bit system (does 32-bit still exist...?)
Anyway I updated half an hour ago and accidently installed the 32-bit version.
Zero problems (as expected); but I'm wondering what the advantages of a 64-bit version are?

I know that, for example, software that requires huge amounts of memory 64-bit can have a benefit.
I'm wondering in what way TheBat! benefits from 64-bit?
Or does the 64-bit version only exist because users keep asking for it (without having a clue why)?
