This is not a bug, this is a feature. You can't prolong your work in TB! when backup is started.
Schedule your backup to not working time.

It's seriously annoying - I have an autobackup scheduled daily. I use email a lot and there simply isn't a time at which I can be sure that I'm not in the middle of typing an email when it starts. And then I have to wait for a several minutes for it to finish before I can continue. It's very bad manners to interrupt when someone is talking. Is there a way of stopping this?


I realise that modifying the message base during backup isn't a good idea, but a 'pause' button on the backup or a message saying something like 'backup will start in 30 seconds' and give the user a chance to delay it would be really helpful.
