Thanks, Daniel! I just did as you suggested and opened a ticket.
I'd try sending this as a feature request to the developers (create a ticket from the Support menu above).

It might be possible to come up with some complicated Windows script that does this (although I haven't managed to think one up) but the only proper implementation would be one build into the program, like it is for POP3, and which could be executed after a new mail-check has finished.

New IMAP messages sound How to play a sound when receiving new IMAP messages in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
Hi all,

I just looked up how to use a filter to play a sound when you get new message through IMAP (like with Gmail). The filter is:

Play sound when: Message (attribute) -> is not -> read (and Continue processing with other filters)

The problem with this is, it plays a sound for EVERY new incoming message. I want something like the POP accounts: after I receive a bunch of new messages together, play a sound, just once. Maybe The Bat! can use a period of, say, 5 seconds, to group the messages together?

Has anyone else come up with a good way to do this? I don't want to hear 19 notification sounds when I basically get all 19 messages at the same time.
