It doesn't sound familiar to me, so it might be a new bug. Have you reported it to Ritlabs at https://www.ritlabs.com/en/support/ ? It might help if you add a few screenshots to illustrate the problem, and be sure to mention your exact version numbers of Windows and The Bat. Good luck!

Sometimes I have trouble refreshing the main message window.
If a message has an attachment and no description, it does not refresh properly.
The attachment window is fine and the main window shows the content of another message
