			That worked.<br /><br />Yeah, I&#39;m aware GMail has it&#39;s own rules.<br />One of the reasons I even try POP3 because using IMAP my All Mail gets messed up as discussed elsewhere.<br />What works perfect for me is GMail&#39;s spam filter.<br /><br />I&#39;m even considering starting to use Outlook.com.<br />Does that one cause less issues with IMAP? <br />

			As you're probably aware, Gmail is not a regular email system and it has many rules of its own. I haven't tried this, but I think the solution is either here, or somewhere near to it:<br /><br />Log into Gmail using your browser<br />Click the top-right Gear icon, then the 'See all settings' button.<br />Go into the Forwarding and POP/IMAP section<br />Choose "Enable POP for all mail (even mail that's already been downloaded)" <br />

			I&#39;ve some problems with my newly setup POP3 account. While the basics work (sending and receiving <U>new</U> mail) I have two issues.<br /><br />a&#93; How do I sync the old messages that already existed before the POP3 account was created?<br />b&#93; How can receive messages that GMail has stored under a Label? <br />
