Thank you for your replies. The bottom line is that I can't change the file explorer for Windows Explorer which was what I was asking.

Cheers.

>> It doesn't have the nice bits like a tree down the side, or favourites, or the drives.
For example, you can drag&drop from every file commander like a total commander that have drives, trees, etc.
>> Here is what I am getting at the moment:
This is same explorer as mine. I don't understand your problem now. Add images folder to the libraries or quick access, do large icon view and here you go.
Thanks for the tip about dragging/dropping although personally I find that a bit cumbersome.

Here is what I am getting at the moment:
<noindex>https://www.dropbox.com/s/y0fl88ht2m5v49j/Untitled.png?dl=0</noindex>

It doesn't have the nice bits like a tree down the side, or favourites, or the drives.
>> you can just drag and drop them onto the message editor window?
It not works with pictures in the html-message (pictures inserts into letter). Better to drop files in the bottom/top of the message window. Here -
<noindex>https://content.screencast.com/users/george2534/folders/Snagit/media/40b39974-d6df-46da-8745-3de45850eeb8/02.25.2021-13.57.png</noindex>

And yep, it works with Adobe Bridge, XnView and other image previewers

>> In my 20 years of using The Bat daily
It shocked me, really. Same here, 20+ years with TB!
Are you aware that if you want to attach files, you can just drag and drop them onto the message editor window? In my 20 years of using The Bat daily, I don't think I've ever even used that 'Add a file' dialog!
There is no here image tags and internal storage for the images. RitLabs ignores wishes about it on the forum more than 10 years already.

Please use it some external image hosting like screencast.com

>> Yes, that would be better.
And? Are you don't have such dialog when you press ALT+PgUp shortcut?
Can you show us what you mean and what you want by screeenshot? Why email-program needs some non-explorer interface for add attachment? File is a file, your Cap Obvious.
Does TB! have its own interface when adding an attachment? It's very bland with none of the favourites or shortcuts as found on Windows Explorer. Is it possible to tell TB! to use explorer instead?
