Thanks... Indeed I have made a mistake: "thread by reference" is more what I would like to have, than "thread by subject".
Fortunately, this type of thread works well...

One other thing and related to this. When I changed the threading criteria, all the column widths and display sequence (of columns) that I had painstakingly adjusted were lost. Why?

I'd like to know the answer to that as well. When I first installed The Bat! (only very recently), I initially set up subject threading. However, I later changed to reference threading and I was pleased to note that the double line presentation disappeared.

Hi,

I like thread by subjects, but when there is only one message, I don't understand why TheBat! put a thread! I need to click two times (instead of only one) to read the mail!

Is there a way to change it?
