How old was your back-up?
During the development of v2, the account info was stored into the account.cfn file instead of the account.cfg file.
Check whether you've got an account.cfg file left. If so close TB, remove the account.cfn files from TB's account directories (remove or rename them, don't delete them, I don't dare to guarantee success)
Start TB and see whether it's better.

the problem is very simple. After i have imported the backup files (thebat v2.0) on the bat v3, the accounts' settings are empty...

smtp...
pop...
email...

all empty
