I'd look under Options | Preferences | Viewer/Editor, and possibly in the message templates for the account(s) where you want to change this (right-click on the name of an account in the tree panel and choose 'Properties').

Where, in the latest version, can I set the default font for emails? In the past I have always used Courier New. However, now when I either write a new email or reply to one, the font is either Consolas (most times) or sometimes another arbitrary font. I'd like to be able to permanently set to Courier New.
