It's a workaround... But it's annoying 'cause the folder structure should be as i like.
I hope Rit boys will fix this asap.

to clarify: this only happens in common folders (even the virtual copy does NOT use the setting of its original folder when visited in a virtual folder, which one might consider a bug or a misbehaviour)

however, for non-virtual folders you can circumvent the problem by using folders WITHIN an account instead of common folders - just move your folders from the outside in and the problem is gone...

I'm actually evaluating this program.

Talking about folders and virtual folders:
I created a virtual folder and some folders used by filters.
In the settings of all accounts i set that the message should be marked as read, only after the open in a separate window. When i read a mail in the inbox this is true and the mail is not marked read until i double click it.
In folders and virtual folders created by me, the message is marked read after 2 second of selection without open it in a separate window.
In the prefs for the folders and virtual folders i was          unable to find the way to set it.
How can i do it ?
