Have you already activated "Use denser display of items for folder and message lists" under Options / Preferences / Other options?  TB has so many options that it can be a challenge to find what you're looking for.

Is there a way to decrease the row height (the default loose spacing) in the message list and the accounts tree so more rows are displayed on the screen?
