Yes I am sure, because my mail server will save outgoing mail(even send by mail client) to "Sent box".....I will get two sent mail if I do not use this filter since The bat! will save another copy to "Sent box"....

Most mail server only save outging mail when you access it from web mail.

It will delete your messages, are you sure that you want to lose messages that was sent?

I find out a better solution:

create an outgoing sorting filter in sorting office

condition: any message
action     : Delete the message

because normally we think "sending mail" and "saving to Sent folder" are tight coupled action.  Some one(my mail supplier) even go further: they save outgoing mail from client to "Sent" folder....   that is the ugly truth we have to face.

that's exactly what I'm doing now as a workaround. whatever I do with those mail, I have to do it twice, I think it's worth to have a better solution?

Therefore, you can do what you want, right click on a box - properties - mail management - set "sent mail" folder to some your own created folder, after that all your emails will never be send anywhere. For manual sending you will need to move this letters to the real "sent mail" folder.

some IMAP server move outgoing mail to Sent mail folder automatically
It will be nice if there has an account option to stop The bat! from doing the same thing one more time.
