Options | Preferences | System : Is "When logging events, use system alarm sound for Errors /Warnings" ON? If you're doing a periodical check of your mail every 60s and an error occurs, that might explain it.

I just upgraded to the latest version of The Bat.  I now get a consistent very low beep/tone every 60s or so.  I've checked all my sound setting and they are off.  This tone does not track with new messages coming in.  The only thing I can think of is it maybe a reminder tone that I have unread messages.  If that is the case how do I turn it off?
