I agree it's not the easiest to locate option.. :    

Options -> Prefs -> Other Options -> Confirmations > Disable "Check for update when The Bat! starts"

Since TB v11 was released I keep getting a popup asking if I want to download it every time I open TB v10.  I am using the non-automatic update version of TB v10.  How do I disable this popup?  I thought there was a setting somewhere in TB to disable this but I can't find it.
