Never mind, didn't realize that there's a separate MESSAGE LIST Tabs option.

I got the tabs to work!
I created Today and This Week tabs as well. These need slightly different settings: Under List, set ‘current message list’ rather than ‘Current folder and its subfolders’

when I tried this before, it only worked for one folder - I want the tabs back for all folders in all accounts!
Is that possible? - if not I'll raise a ticket

I'm not sure about "Today", but the other ones come as standard. I had to create some of them myself since they weren't created by default when upgrading.

Workspace -> Message List Tabs -> Configure Tabs... and see what's going on. You can always create the tabs from there if needed.
