First, check the Account Properties -> Mail management, esp. IMAP Fine-Tune and the message download preferences there. Then, check the properties of each folder (IMAP Specific -> Download preferences) and see whether they're using their parent's settings or have something specific set for them.

Just to add more information, I am using the latest version of The Bat Professional, 11..0.46 (64-bit)

I have folders under my Inbox folder (IMAP) which are not automatically getting scanned for new messages. When I click on the folders independently, they immediately fetch mail which shows up under the unread column next to it.

How would I go about configuring the mailbox so that the folders under my Inbox automatically check for messages when the Inbox does so itself?
