If you want to mass-export messages, the .mbox format is probably more convenient since it can save multiple messages into one file.

You can highlight the messages to export, rightclick and select message>save as and TB will save each message with the subject line as name.

Seems perfectly normal. I'm not sure why you'd expect the files to be named after the message subjects.. the subject lines are part of the message headers within the files.

When I export messages as .eml files, they are numbered instead of retaining their subject lines.

Is that normal?
