Try setting the authentication to OAUTH (Account Properties -> Transport -> Receive Mail -> Authentication). I'm surprised it even works with Regular.

Every time I resume from sleep, The Bat! opens a browser and the OAuth windows each time.  I manually close them and the Bat sends and receives GMail just fine.  I have authentication set to regular and using the Google supplied password on the account.  I'm using version 11.2.1.  Any work around to prevent this from happening?
